Made for four centuries by the Benedictine nuns of the Notre Dame Monastery in Bouzy-la-Forêt.

Emerald water is an alcohol at 50° Vol, made from honey and aromatic plants, chosen for their antiseptic, cicratric and tonic virtues: sage, peppermint and rosemary.

Honey: support of the alcoholic fermentation.

Sage: stimulates the heart and nervous system, helps to fight against nascent angina.

Rosemary: relieves rheumatic pain.

Peppermint: regulates the digestive functions, is reputed to act on fungi and viruses (herpes).
